NEWS ALERT -- NFF Unveils Sunday Oliseh As Super Eagles Head Coach (SEE PHOTOS)

Newly appointed Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh, has been officially unveiled by the NFF today. The new coach was however quick to say that he was not a messiah who could turn the fortunes of the Super Eagles immediately.

 Speaking to the press today, the former Super Eagles captain said; 

“I’m not coming as a messiah, it is a great honour to be a great coach of this nation, me and my team. We are more than motivated to serve Nigeria. I am not to replace anyone”. Gone are the days when we have individual players playing. That’s what we have during my generation. If you’re not playing the first division in any league in the world you will not make the team, and also we need hungry and motivated player.”


The new coach’s appointement is  with immediate effect as Nigeria prepares for the AFCON.
