Anambra State Football Association Slams a #200,000 fine on Mr Remigius Uche Anyadike, (Uche Remmy) .

The Anambra State Football Association Disciplinary Committee headed by Chief Uzo Epundu slammed a fine of Two hundred thousand Naira on Mr Remigius Uche Anyadike for bringing football to disrepute on the Finals of the 2023 RemmyUche Onitsha football Tournament .

A letter of invitation was sent to Mr Remigius Uche Anyadike and one Mr Austin Kelechi Nwankwo  to appear before the Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday 6th March but they failed to appear.

The Disciplinary Committee gave them Seven days starting from the 6th of March to redeem the Prize monies and other consolation prizes to the Clubs and Winners

The Committee frowned on the fact that the Sponsor registered a team in his own Competition.

The Same Sponsor and his team Abandoned the Final game before the end of regulation time .

Same Sponsor has failed to redeem the Prize monies to both the Winners and the Third placed teams and other consolation prizes till date

The Committee also Urged Mr Remigius Uche Anyadike to comply or face further sanctions.

Which may affect the participation of RemmyUche Fc in the upcoming Nero's Pharmaceuticals Anambra State Federation Cup 2024.

Mr Remigius Uche Anyadike have been doing great things for the youths in Onitsha and environs. But bringing the game of football to disrepute is unacceptable.

This Should also be a Warning to Others, when you host a competition try and redeem the Prize monies because teams invested monies to participate in the competition, they also paid monies to participate.

We All Should do better
