SPORTS - Arsenal Defeats Chelsea To Win Community Shield

24 minutes into the game, Oxlade Chamberlain of Arsenal FC put his ahead of the game by a goal which apparently later made the team victorious at the 2015 Community Shield.
arsenal
The first half goal has given Arsene Wenger his first win against Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho.
The Community Shield which is a champion’s cup between the winners of the Premiere league and the FA Cup champions see Arsenal winning its first major game against Chelsea in almost a decade.

Jose Mourinho waited at the bottom of the Wembley steps to congratulate every Arsenal player on their victory, but Arsene Wenger swerved the opportunity to get a pat on the back for ending his hoodoo.
Arsenal’s Community Shield victory meant Wenger beat Mourinho for the first time in 14 meetings between the two men and gave a signal that the Gunners could push champions Chelsea all the way in this season’s Premier League title race.
The only push last season came in the form of a shove on the touchline from Wenger and the Frenchman made it clear he is in no mood to end the feud between the pair, following this success.
Rather than waiting to see whether or not Mourinho offered an olive branch after shaking hands with all of the Arsenal players, including Petr Cech, Wenger disappeared behind the back of the Portuguese without so much as a glance.

Bellerin tussles with Matic during the early stages
Mourinho, in turn, dodged a ball thrown at him from the Wembley stands and handed over his runners-up medal to a young Arsenal fan. He understandably does not want a reminder of losing to Wenger for the first time.
Dressed in tracksuit bottoms and a training-t-shirt, Mourinho clearly wanted to give the impression he is still very much in pre-season mode and will no doubt place little significance in his side’s defeat.
But Wenger, suited and booted as normal, will hope his team draw belief from this result and there can surely be no more excuses for Arsenal not to challenge for the title for an entire season.
Other than the fact he was wearing a different goalkeeper jersey, Sunday’s curtain-raiser was all-too familiar for Cech on his Arsenal debut as he kept a clean sheet and picked up yet another winners’ medal.
Chelsea fans had become used to seeing Cech put in unbeatable performances for their team over the past 11 years, but the Arsenal supporters are clearly delighted with their side’s summer capture.
Cech only had one save of note to make in the entire match, but it was celebrated much like a goal. Some fans even turned up at Wembley in protective helmets in honour of their new hero.

Courtois looks on as Oxlade-Chamerlain's shot curls past him
Other than regretting the decision to allow Cech to join Chelsea’s rivals, Mourinho may also rue the fact he was not successful in getting match-winner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as part of the deal.
Wenger rejected Mourinho’s request to take Oxlade-Chamberlain in the opposite direction and that looks like a wise decision, given the England international’s lively Wembley performance that he capped with an excellent goal.
The decisive moment came in the 24th minute, when Oxlade-Chamberlain collected a pass from Theo Walcott on the right, cut inside and rifled a left-foot shot into the net that Thibaut Courtois was powerless to stop.

Courtois punches clear under pressure from Walcott
Wenger clenched his fists in celebration and no wonder, as it was Arsenal’s first goal in 506 minutes against Chelsea.
There was no Alexis Sanchez for Arsenal as he returns to training this week, following an extended break after the Copa America, and the prospect of the Chile international on the left and an in-form Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right will be mouth-watering for Wenger.
Much like in the game against Manchester City that seemed to herald a change in thinking from Wenger last season, Arsenal were prepared to sit back and allow their opponents to have the ball before attempting to break.
Francis Coquelin carried out another outstanding screening job and Cech got through the first half against his former employers without having to make a save.

Cech clears a ball into the box against his former club
Ramires sent a shot wide and again failed to test Cech when he really should have levelled the scores. Loic Remy, starting because Diego Costa was once again feeling his hamstring, picked out the Brazilian with a brilliant cross, but he headed wastefully over the crossbar from inside the six-yard box.
Mourinho clearly wanted to see more purpose to Chelsea’s attacks and he sent on Falcao to replace Remy for the second half. There was also a shift in formation, as Cesc Fabregas dropped back into a deeper midfield role and Eden Hazard, who had been quiet during the first period, moved into the middle behind Falcao.
Mourinho has claimed that Hazard was better than Cristiano Ronaldo last season, but the Belgian was some way short of the World Player of the Year when he was sent through by Fabregas.
It was a typically superbly weighted ball from Fabregas that put Hazard through on goal, but, with only Cech to beat, the forward scooped his effort high over the bar.

Hazard blazes a good chance well over the bar
While Arsenal fans craved a victory over Chelsea and Mourinho, they also wanted to see a significant Cech save and it finally arrived with just over 20 minutes remaining after Coquelin had fouled Hazard to concede a free-kick.
Ivanovic stood directly in front of Cech as substitute Oscar weighed up the set piece, but it did not stop the 33-year-old making a diving save to his right to maintain Arsenal’s advantage.
The Arsenal fans behind Cech’s goal greeted the save like their team had scored and followed up with a chant of ‘Cech’s a Gooner’. Even a routine catch from substitute Kurt Zouma’s header prompted celebrations.
Ivanovic headed a Fabregas free-kick over with only two minutes remaining and Wenger had his victory. Mourinho will already be counting down the days to the first Premier League meeting between Arsenal and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on September 19. He might even deem the occasion important enough to dig out his suit.

And it did not just end there as the police also found eight pregnant girls almost due for delivery . One can not really tell if they are been brainwashed to go in to such act or they just choose to do it..
Anyway all thanks to the police am sure these girls will be giving better treatment and security by the delta state government.

SPORTS - Premier League squad numbers: Best Players that has worn 1-50

Since squad numbers were introduced in Great Britain in 1993, players have chosen to express themselves by the numbers on their back. In England, some have become legendary -- see No. 7 at Manchester United, worn by the likes of Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo in the Premier League era. But has someone worn every number from 1-50?
We liked this from the NBA so much that we thought we'd have our own go. It would be hard to argue that Blackpool's Andy Reid (No. 43), or Villa's Jack Grealish (No. 40) are "the best" to have ever worn the shirt, and Man Utd youngster James Wilson even figures twice (No. 47 and 49).
But there are some crackers in there too.  Enjoy.
Premier League
The Premier League's elite tend not to experiment with much over 30 but there has been a lot of numbers used.
Notes:
- 1-11 is virtually impossible to assign
Goalkeepers, obviously are all going to want No. 1, (unless you are Tim Howard, who opts for No. 24 at Everton) but there's little disputing that Peter Schmeichel deserves the shirt. There have been a host of first-class defenders to wear Nos. 2-6 too, so we went for arguably the best players to have played in their positions in the Premier League era.
No. 7 is too difficult. Clearly Ronaldo, Beckham and Cantona are streets ahead of the rest, with only Robert Pires near them, while No. 8 sees Frank Lampard miss out. Ian Wright, Nicky Butt, Peter Beardsley too. Don't even start us on No. 10 and No. 9. Perhaps only the legendary No. 11 Ryan Giggs fully deserves his spot having made his number legendary.
- There are some great players who don't like 1-11
Some of the best players in the Premier League era haven't been conventional.
Thierry Henry wore No. 14 for Arsenal; Roy Keane (No. 16) and Paul Scholes (No. 18) made themselves legends at Man Utd; Jamie Carragher's No. 23 and John Terry's No. 26 show that defenders aren't scared to go high either. Chelsea's Gianfranco Zola (No. 25) is also worth a mention (sorry Antonio Valencia, Emmanuel Adebayor and Nwankwo Kanu.)
- It's not just reserves who take high numbers
Yaya Toure's No. 42 and Carlos Tevez's No. 32 -- while he was at Manchester City -- are surely the best to have worn the highest numbers. Mario Balotelli at No. 45 isn't pulling up trees at Liverpool but it's a notable number all the same and Martin Skrtel also adds to the Liverpool tally with his No. 37.
OK, Jordan Rossiter and James Wilson (twice) are a bit of a stretch, but there are still some big names like Petr Cech, Raheem Sterling (sorry Liverpool fans) and Lazar Markovic to be wearing them currently.
Also, we couldn't let a No. 36 go by without mentioning a Spurs legend. RIP, Dean Richards.
If you have any additions, please add them in the comments section below.

NEWS ALERT - Man killed 7 including girlfriend in one day

On saturday february 16 2013,Henry Chibueze a notorious killer terrorising the eastern part of the country, stormed the home of his girlfriend Sandra Ijedimma at Igando area of lagos state with an AK47 rifle and opened fire in the apartment, killing scores of people including his girlfriend, her elder sister Praise ozor, and two other children
Not satisfied, Henry proceeded to a nearby street where one of Sandra’s elder sisters resided and killed the woman and three of her children, before fleeing.
His anger was said to have been that Sandra, who was an optician with Madonna University, had called off their relationship, when she learnt that   he was a kidnapper.       Sandra’s twin sister, Katherine who sustained a bullet would during the attack had told vanguard in 2013 that the assailant was   familiar with everyone in their family but nobody knew he was a kidnapper . She explained that her late sister used to visit Henry at his base in Delta State and in one of such visits, some heavily armed men stormed Henry’s apartment, manhandling Sandra in the process.Henry-Chibueze
She added that the armed men reportedly told Sandra that her lover absconded with their share of a ransom paid to them for one of their  kidnapping exploits, threatening to wipe out all his (Henry’s) family members if he did not pay them. Thereafter, Sandra informed her family members in Lagos of what had happened and they rushed to Delta State to bring her to Lagos for proper treatment. But while she was receiving the treatment, she called off the relationship and Henry; feeling betrayed, stormed their Lagos home and killed people while Katherine narrowly escaped death.
The police in Lagos went all out in search of Henry. Vanguard gathered that operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, who were then headed by Sp Abba Kyari, trailed him to Abia, Delta and Rivers State, where they rounded up some of his close friends, relatives and seven members of his gang who were behind the kidnap of a British national, Diction Lee, few minutes after the Briton arrived at the country. They kidnapped him on Airport Road, Ikeja.   At that point, it was established that Henry had escaped from the country and was based in Ivory Coast.
But while the search for him went cold in Lagos, Henry, was said to have regrouped with his gang in Imo State and they coordinated several kidnappings in the South East and South South, where he kidnapped over 200 persons, killing most of his victims, including the wife of a royal father in Imo State and an official of the Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission which yielded him N50m ransom.
However, luck ran out on him, last weekend, when he attempted to kidnap the tribunal Judges, handling Election Petition in Imo State, at their lodge, in Disney Hotels, along Onitsha -Owerri Road. Operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS, acting On a tip-off swooped on him, but he managed to escape with bullet wounds which he had gone to treat in the house of his elder brother’s wife, in Ohafia, Abia State, where men of the secret police eventually apprehended him.
He   was arrested along side an army deserter, Akeem Bello, from Kwara State, who abandoned his duty post at Maiduguiri where he was posted. Fear of the activities of the Boko Haram sect probably informed his action. A native doctor, Dan Elengi, who is said to be the proprietor of a popular hotel at Ohii in Owerri Local Government Area,   of Imo State was also among those nabbed.
The 28-year-old man, who is an indigene of Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State, confessed when he was paraded before the Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, that he operated from Abidjan, Cote d’ Ivoire and he killed his girl friend and members of her family because she stole his N45million, after he had opened a shop for her in Aba.
Meanwhile, relatives of his victims have been thrown into celebration following news of his arrest. They called on the Imo State Government to ensure that Henry who is also known as Vampire is prosecuted judiciously.   Ekene Ozor, the husband of one of   Sandra’s sisters who was killed on the day of the attack wants Henry to pay for his crimes. “That man is evil. He robbed me of my wife and two children and robbed my in-laws of eight members of their family.
Henry Chibueze
Henry Chibueze
But my God told me that he would not escape judgment. I am grateful to God for his arrest and I commend the efforts of the Nigeria police especially, the Special Anti Robbery Squad SARS, Lagos State Police Command, who first handled my case, the DSS operatives for their continued efforts to apprehend this heartless criminal. I wish to commend also the governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha, for his efforts in the arrest of the deadly gang of killers. Days after the attack on my home were highly traumatic. I had seven corpses to deal with at a time and they were all in the mortuary. I was the only one taking care of my remaining children and
I passionately wish to appeal to governors Rochas Okorocha, Ifeanyi Okowa, Akinwumi Ambode and other governors in the federation and well meaning Nigerians to come to my aid as I feel very concerned about the education of my remaining children and their welfare.
Things have tough for me, my little children.   We are still having the psychological pain of the attack of Henry. We have been haunted by the fear of another attack by the serial killer. There have been fears of going out freely because of the horrifying threats from the serial killer and his cohorts. Consequently, I’m indebted to the tune of N7.2 million excluding properties sold to meet up with bills, drugs, surgery of my wife’s younger sister who survived gun shots.   It is by grace of God that I am still alive because it made me hypertensive since then.”

VIEWPOINT - Which way for Biafra?

SINCE the pogrom against Ndigbo of 1966, that led to the the declaration of the Republic of Biafra among the South Easterners of Nigeria , and the subsequent civil war, from 1967 to 1970, in which Biafrans were defeated,  many do not know what to do with the name Biafra, which was drawn from the Bight of Biafra at the South of the Atlantic Ocean.

Most war veterans from the Nigeria side, especially the leaders treat everything about Biafra with ignominy, disdain, and repulsion. Out of pride and arrogance, they wish the name was crushed out of existence.

They forget , that over One million lives were lost in that war majorly through famine, and hunger; that over four African nations, and four nations in Europe recognised Biafra, within its two and half years of existence, that Ndigbo, are a people that show and carry love for humanity, everywhere they go; that Igbos are making their contributions to the building of a virile Nigerian nation in spite of and against all odds; that you can never kill love, for God is love; and that their poor handling of the case of Biafra is a major scar on the conscience of this nation, among other scars, which include the poor handling of Biafran war veterans, retirees, and pensioners of Nigeria, our Prison and police cells.

The only preserved relics of that civil war, can be found in the wretched, poorly maintained war museum in Umuahia. Till date many Biafran war veterans are yet to be paid their disengagement allowances and other entitlements 43 years after, and that is not a big surprise in a nation where even now, military pensioners still queue, and slump on queues for their pension stipends. If those who fought and won the civil war, and those who fight to keep Nigeria safe today still beg for their entitlements, Biafrans who lost the war, ought to learn, and look for a better solution to their predicaments.
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, have consistently employed very non-violent methods to keep the name Biafra, and the quest for justice, equity, peace and unity of the Igbo man in Nigeria alive.
They have resuscitated the Biafran Pounds across some Nigerian Borders, organised serious protest marches and rallies, which the Federal Government find embarrassing and typically, MASSOB have been visited with arrests, extra judicial killings, harassments, and all manners of suppressive actions, which have not solved the problem. The latest development in the Biafra story, is the Radio Biafra, which has given the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, NBC, sleepless nights.
I have not tuned to that radio, but those who have listened to it, say it spreads hate and bad language, against the Nigerian state, while also carrying news worthy items on the realities of the Igbo man in Nigeria.
The radio is quite popular among Igbo youths, and the problem is that most of these youths never saw or fought the war, they did not see kwasiokor, Ogbunigwe, air raids, army camps, bedbugs, and the likes, they never lived on rodents, and reptiles as a source for protein. All they know about that war experience is from books, and the social media, and thus, may also not realise that a pharaoh who did not know Joseph is in on the throne.
President Muhammadu Buhari, PMB, was reported to have told his audience during his recent trip to America that his government will be more favourably disposed to help those who voted massively for him, than those who did not. There is no problem with such a comment because it is exactly what politicians in Nigeria do, hence some argue that Igbos made the mistake of voting massively for former President Jonathan during the last elections.
It is realistic to expect a tilt against Ndigbo under this government, no matter what, and it will be a pleasant surprise if PMB did otherwise. Although we now hear that PMB was quoted out of context or wrongly, we will wait for time to tell.
Biafrans should now stand on the awareness created and the messages passed to turn things around for themselves.
The supporters of MASSOB, and Ndigbo in general, in Nigeria and in the diaspora should take the message to the next positive level in the best interest of Ndigbo. Rather than focus on the negativities, and fighting governments, MASSOB, Biafrans, and Ndigbo should harness all the energy and resources to look more inwards in order to turn Igbo land into that dream place for every person.
Their first assignment will be to hold our leaders in Igbo land responsible, by devising ways and means to challenge the present governors, and to make governance very hard and difficult for all thieves, and corrupt persons in our land. Information should be compiled on all past and present leaders, with the view of denying them access to governance where they have stolen the common wealth of Ndigbo in any way.
For example, a list of corrupt and stupendously rich governors making waves in the social media include some Igbo governors, and MASSOB should take such men to task, by organising to prosecute them now or soon after they lose their immunity. MASSOB should be in the fore front of the fight against corruption and kidnapping in Igbo Land.
Second, a master plan for rail and road transportation that will cover the entire Igbo land should be produced, in addition to Carbohydrate and protein supply plan for the South East Zone.
Third, the Igbo States, should agree with some South South States, especially Delta and Bayelsa on the development of a commercially viable deep sea port to augment Port Harcourt and Calabar Ports and to reduce the drudgery, risks and blackmail from importation through Lagos Ports.
The general attitude of an average Biafran should be to develop Igbo land and its environs first and as matter of urgent priority, with or without the oil money from federal government. Should this not be the way Biafra should go ?

NEWS - British sperm donor fathers 10 children for strangers in 4 months

Kenzie Kilpatrick's eighth child was born last week. He is thrilled, showing a picture on his phone of the girl - as yet unnamed - who arrived on Tuesday, July 21, at 10.44am, weighing 6lb 15oz.

He reads out a message from the mother, which says: 'I'm so happy to tell you that our little miracle baby girl is here. All thanks to you. She is beautiful.'.

The 26-year-old looks as proud as any new dad, but Kenzie will play no further part in this child's life. Nor will he be a parent to his 7 other biological children - all born, one after the other, in the past 3 months or the 2 who are due any time now.

So, 3 daughters, 5 sons, including twin boys, and counting. Half-siblings who share their father's DNA, but not each other's lives or indeed Kenzie's continued presence as they grow up

Kenzie, a single gay man, this week emerged as one of Britain's most prolific freelance sperm donors. Dubbed 'the Sperminator' by one radio station, at this rate - 10 babies in fewer than 4 months - he could father 300 children in a decade.

'When the last 2 babies are born, I will have fathered 10 children, all under 4 months old. It's amazing and I feel so proud,' says Kenzie, who has taken the rare step of speaking publicly about the hidden world of independent sperm donors.

So far he has helped 9 lesbian couples and1 heterosexual couple to become parents.

'It feels fantastic to have helped so many people in such a short space of time, but I've decided to stop for now. I may help provide siblings to my existing couples, but while I would never say never, I'm not on a mission to populate the world.'

Kenzie, who says he accepts no payment other than travel expenses, recites the name of each of his genetic children as he counts them on his fingers, but adds: 'Please don't ask me their birthdates. There are too many of them, I get confused and really they're not my kids. Any man can father a child, but it takes a parent to love them and bring them up. I see them as donations.'

Ever since Kenzie first offered his services for free in June last year via his Facebook group, called Drama Free UK Sperm Donors, he says he has been inundated with hundreds of requests from women desperate for a child.
Operating outside strict regulations which govern clinics licensed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, Kenzie has no moral issue with fathering children by women willing to take a risk with someone who is effectively a stranger.
