Nzeakor Kosisochukwu Scores as Abia Comets scores Five past UcheCharia Fc

 


Abia Comets football club of Umuahia booked its spot in the final of the 2024 Abia State Governor's NALCOMA Cup, which will take place on Thursday, November 6,2024, at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

Ablaze Ismaili Opened the Scoring in the 5th Minute and later doubled the lead in the 35th minute
Uche Charis Fc replied with Goals from Emma Ogbonna and Ujoatu Chamberlain in 41st and 45th minutes respectively to end the first half with a Draw

Micah Onwukwe Scored in the Second Half to make Sure Abia Comets maintain their lead.
Then the Tall defender Kosisochukwu Nzeakor scored his first Competitive Goal for Abia Comets as the Scored the 4th Goal for the Comets

FINALLY THE FINALS OF SOLUTION COMMUNITY SHIELD FOOTBALL COMPETITION WILL HOLD ON SUNDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2024

 



All is now set for the hosting of the Final ceremony of SOLUTION COMMUNITY SHIELD FOOTBALL COMPETITION

The Finals will take place on Sunday,17th November, 2024 at The Awka City Stadium




Nnewi town(Nnewi North LGA)will take on Umuoji ( Idemili North LGA)in the Finals coming up by 3pm while  FEGGE (Onitsha South) will take on OSUMENYI (Nnewi South LGA)in the third place match by 12 noon



Players and officials are expected to arrive the stadium one hour before the matches for inspection and other formalities.

The Special Host of the Competition Governor Chukwuma Soludo will be handing over the trophy to the eventual winners 🏆
Also the Chairmen and Commissioners of the four Commissions that came together to make this happen will be on ground too

Abia Comets Start the Abia Governor's Cup on a Winning Note.




Abia Comets Football Club of Umuahia made a strong start in the Abia State Governor-sponsored Nigerian National League pre-season tournament, defeating Edel FC of Awka 2-0 in their opening match held in Aba.


This tournament, organized in collaboration with the National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA), features six teams from the South-East and South-South regions of Nigeria. In the second match of the day, Kun Khalifat FC and Solution FC played to a goalless draw.




The first half ended without any goals, but Abia Comets broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute thanks to an own goal from Ejike Uzoechi Edel Fc captain . 

Felix Henry followed up with a second goal just four minutes later to secure the victory.



Chief Boniface Uche, chairman of Abia Comets FC and a board member of the NNL, credited Governor Alex Otti for making the tournament possible, emphasizing its importance in providing teams a competitive platform to prepare for the upcoming season.


After the matches, Abia Comets’ coach, Mr. Okechukwu Ejeh, praised his players for their fighting spirit, describing their performance as a preview of what fans can expect in the upcoming season. He also expressed gratitude to the Governor for supporting the tournament.


Another game was played later on as Solution FC played out a Barren Draw with Kun Khalifat football club Owerri 


Edel Fc will continue tomorrow against Ahudiya nnem an Abiriba based NLO Team 


The six participating teams are divided into two groups and will each play three matches, with the top teams from each group advancing to the finals on Thursday
