The Chairman Board of Trustee of All Nigeria Football Players Union Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi earlier today spoke about Uche Nwofor's Shaving Case and assured the public that the Union is still on the case as the case is about to be taken to Court.
Iloenyosi said that notwithstanding that he has an appointment with the GOC concerning the case, Which the GOC is appealing for Peace to reign, but things should be done accordingly, he said that CAF and FIFA has frowned at the issue and condemned it totally.
Remember Uche Nwofor was harassed at the Army Barracks Onitsha by an Army officer who humiliated and shaved the hair of the Ex International. The incident was condemned by Nigerians as per why the Army will not have respect for an Ambassador of the Country who represented Nigeria in the World Cup.
Since then the Army officer have boasted that nothing will happen.
Iloenyosi added that at the Players Union meeting in Ghana, that the case was deliberated on and they agreed on heading to Court So as to get the required Justice.
He also said that he Iloenyosi have great respect for the GOC and how he has been handling the case since it happened and as a soldier that loves and support football development. He urged the GOC to do everything possible to make sure Justice is served. As the GOC have been doing well in every area of his work, most importantly protecting the Citizens and properties. He should also look into this case with a clean heart.
But as for the Case, It is far from Over as the players union will be heading to Court Soon.
Justice is all We Want
